Welcome to the official preview for Game Update 32! As we close the doors on the Erollisi Day celebrations, it's time to look forward and see what's coming with the next update to EverQuest II.
The Estate of Unrest
The Estate of Unrest will now be open and ready for high level action. The new zone is an instance that can be found in the Echoes of Faydwer expansion, off of the Butcherblock Mountains. High level characters should find a fair bit of challenge and fun as they explore the new zone.
If you remember Unrest from EverQuest I, this should be an especially pleasant trip down memory lane. Don't get too caught up in the nostalgia though, with the passage of time has come a good number of changes that will bring a fresh new perspective to Unrest. New Enemy Masteries
After the changes in GU31, there was a rush of activity to complete all the Legend & Lore quests for the new Enemy Mastery system. Don't think it's time to let the dust settle though! In GU32 you will be able to pursue new Legend & Lore collections for the following creatures: Kobolds, Bugbears, Brownies, Minotaurs, Clockworks, and Werewolves. Leaving Kelethin?
Love having wings, but tired of living up in the trees? Citizens of Kelethin will be able to relocate away from their homeland and take up residence in other cities. Fae who want to go to Freeport will have to betray to Exile first as a step toward joining Freeport. Those who wish to reside in Qeynos won't have to betray their homeland as they relocate to the allied city. New Changes for the Petition System
We've heard your feedback about the current workings of the petition system and the development team has worked very hard to create an in game web browser that will launch when you initiate a petition and function within the game interface. You will no longer need to run the game in a window, or minimize the game client when submitting a petition. This should make it much easier for everyone to file petitions when needed. And More!
This is only a small sampling of all the changes that are coming with the next game update. The EQII development team is constantly working on all kinds of changes for the game to keep it exciting and fresh. Keep an eye on the EQ2 Players website for more information and updates!
