In the Mysterious Islands you can employ iconic captains and ships! The good (figuratively speaking) Captain Nemo and his trusty ship the Nautilus make their grand appearance, if you ever wanted to have Nemo and the Nautilus at your command, now is the time!
We first launched the Pirates CSG Online “Pirates of Davy Jones’ Curse” and it brought together a wonderful community from all around the world familiar with the tabletop game, and allowing players a new experience – an online 3-D experience.First we truly saw the madness of Davy Jones and the Flying Dutchmen – painting the seas a crimson red and taking no survivors (or maybe one, since dead men tell no tales). With this set, players were found incorporating the explosive ships, ghastly crew, and devastating sea monsters from The Pirates of Davy Jones’ Curse.
Next, the Jolly Roger flew strong in the wind when we launched our next online set, “Pirates of the Spanish Main”. The original set from Wizkids that started all the craze and it didn’t disappoint, Pirates of the Spanish Main granted a horde of new ships, crew, and treasure into the online world. We’re still reeling from the effects of the multi-turn HMS Titans!
Now comes the Mysterious Islands! We mentioned those pesky sea monsters from Davy Jones’ Curse and they thought they were the only ones that could use some trickery to defeat their foes by hiding underwater, well they have another thing coming, submarines! Submarines will allow commanders of a multitude of nations to employ submerging vessels in their fleets!
Ahh, but with The Mysterious Islands those very same sea monsters and submarines, will fear the wrath of ships and crew that can launch a barrage of cannon fodder in your submerged direction. That’s right, no more sneaking around and thinking you can get away free and clear.
