This gave everyone an opportunity to compete with players from around the world without the expensive plane tickets or even the dreaded clean up! The Pirates of Davy Jones’ Curse introduced you to the infamous demon of the sea himself, Davy Jones, and his deadly ship, the Flying Dutchman. This set allowed players to take to the seas with powerful ships, ghoulish crew members, and frightening sea monsters.

Next, to hit the briny depths of the online game was the original set from Wizkids, “Pirates of the Spanish Main”. We checked the sails, hoisted up our tattered Jolly Roger into the wind, and set sail as the Pirates of the Spanish Main dolled out tons of new ships, crew, and treasure for the online world.  This set has some of the most fearsome ships, including the multi-turn HMS Titan.

In the third set for the Pirates CSG Online the crafty Captain Nemo and his famous submarine, the Nautilus made their way into the online space in “Pirates of the Mysterious Islands”. This set provided a new and intriguing gameplay with actual Mysterious Islands; these islands added a layer of challenge when treasure hunting since these islands could grant either a beneficial or harmful side effect.

Now, with the fourth online expansion we introduce the “Pirates of the South China Seas”. Meet the new personalities that have made their way into this expansion such as Ms. Cheng (who is believed to be the long lost sister of Mademoiselle Josephine) and feel the wrath of the new nation – The Jade Rebellion!
