Fan Faire 2008 is next week and you still have until Friday (August 8th) to register! Legends of Norrath™ and The Star Wars™ Galaxies Trading Card Game will be giving all attendees some special loot cards redeemable for cool items in EverQuest®, EverQuest® II and Star Wars Galaxies!
For EverQuest, you'll receive a Bridle of the Wrulon Protector loot card that summons a very fast Protective Wrulon Mount!
For EverQuest II, you'll receive an Avian Wrath loot card that shape changes you into a Spiroc with a shield that damages any melee attacker.
For Star Wars Galaxies, you will receive a Target Creature loot card which enables the user to simulate combat in an indoor environment.
(Please Note: Every Fan Faire attendee will receive the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game loot card and the Legends of Norrath 2008 Fan Faire loot pack containing either the EQ or EQII loot card based on your preference)!
In addition to the Legends of Norrath cards, Fan Faire attendees will receive an in-game item!
This year the item (for EQII) will be a cloak! But not just any cloak. It will be the Ale Stained Cloak of the Gathering.

I'm so glad you asked! This year's cloak also doubles as a tapestry that you can hang in your house. Once it's a tapestry you can examine it and turn it back into a cloak. It will also open a browser window and take you to the webpage with all the photos from this year's Fan Faire.
Fan Faire attendees will also get the chance to pre-order EverQuest: The 10th Anniversary Collector's Edition at a special price.
