One does not simply walk into Qeynos, especially refugees from the Isle of Refuge (let alone the poor people who betray). Everyone starts off in the villages surrounding Qeynos.
The Willow Wood
The Docks:
The docks are home to the Half-elf and Wood-elf mentors as well as the bells that will transport you within Qeynos and to some of the outlying areas.
The Qeynos Exchange:
The Qeynos Exchange houses the all important banks. Anywhere that holds the money is important right?
The Down Below:
Just behind the Qeynos Exchange is the entrance to the Down Below. This is the place where the less reputable citizens of Norrath avoid discovery by the guards!
The Peaceful Bough Inn:
Across from the bank is The Peaceful Bough Inn. Here we have the free one-room housing. It's an excellent starter home! The mailbox is conveniently located just around the corner.
Wayfarer's Stockpilers:
For the crafting minded, just around the other corner from the inn is Wayfarer's Stockpilers. Here you can find just about everything you need for a long and happy crafting life. There's also a broker inside to make shopping even easier!
Brooklily Books:
Moving further into town, we have Brooklily Books. Here an elf can find their Apprentice II spells and combat arts! Make sure to keep your voice down, though. The scribes get cranky when you make too much noise.
The Elddar Grove:
Going down the path next to the bookstore, you can find the entrance to The Elddar Grove, another village in Qeynos.
Baynor's Hammer:
Coming back down the path into the village proper, there is Baynor's Hammer. Here you can attend to those pesky dents in your armour after a hard day's adventuring.
The Forest Ruins:
Around the corner from Baynor's you'll find the entrance to The Forest Ruins. It's a good place for young adventurers to cut their teeth as they prepare to make their way in the wider world of Norrath.
