Veterans Day was originally known as Armistice Day throughout the world. This day marked the official end of the "Great War" (World War I), at 11am on November 11, 1918; the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. After the end of World War II, Armistice Day was changed to Veterans Day in the United States, in order to honor those who have served the country in all wars.
Please join all of us at SOE in thanking former and current members of the military, their families, and all supporters of freedom and peace for their service. We salute you!
