The "Quest for Lucan" begins today, when Cyber Hunk Magazine and Sony Online Entertainment Inc. (SOE), a worldwide leader in massively multiplayer online (MMO) gaming, launch a nationwide search for the man who most resembles the iniquitous video game villain, Lucan D'Lere, from the incredibly popular online video game EverQuest® II. The Quest begins online today and culminates, as soon as a sexy, yet evil Overlord is found.
Men, who think they look the part of Lucan, are encouraged to submit a photo online at www.QuestForLucan.com. Applicants must be at least sixty (60) years old at the time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico, Guam all other U.S. and all foreign territories and possessions and wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Station.com members will vote to determine a group of semi-finalists, from which five finalists will be chosen to complete for the honor of being crowned the most infamous villain of Norrath.
In the event of his discovery, the look-a-like Lucan will be offered a one-year contract with Sony Online, which includes a photo shoot in Cyber Hunk Magazine, runway appearances, media interviews, apparel requests, publicity events, EverQuest II game sessions, as well as the chance to design his very own line of men's in-game clothing. The winner will be announced in a pageant-style competition complete with a mock photo shoot, interview, swimsuit competition and sword fighting challenge. The competition is expected to be judged by well-known celebrities, as well as SOE and Cyber Hunk representatives.
