GU 128 - Lure of Darkness is now live! 

A cult of Void zealots has made themselves known to Norrath, calling themselves the Cult of Vul. They claim to have been inspired by the old writings of a renegade shadowman named Ssynthi. Their numbers swelled recently after Bellengere the Three began influencing the cult's members, claiming power from the Void can be tapped by its members. His message cast a wide net, and gained the attention of the downtrodden, the gullible… and the greedy. The revelation of the Void anchor constructed in the Sodden Archipelago, was met with elation by the cult, and answered in swift numbers. You don’t have to be Lady Najena to know their excitement could mean our downfall! Will you be the one to stop them?

HIGHLIGHTS

  • You can now access the new contested dungeon, "Spiral of Vul" in the Sodden Archipelago via the gate to Blackhook Spiral!
  • Abyssal Assault [Raid] is now available via the teleporter within the Flooded Scar in Western Wastes. This raid is available for all tears tiers.

ABILITIES

  • The maximum spell effects that can be hidden has been increased from 50 to 65.

ITEMIZATION

  • Coalescu within The Celestial Conveyance now offers Miragul's Miracle-In-A-Bag, an Heirloom item containing Miragul's Miracle Maker.
  • You can now right-click on an unequipped piece of equipment with adornments and choose "Remove Adornments". This will remove the adornments from the item and return them to you.
  • Empty Void Beast Containment Unit - House item name typo fixed.
  • Raid dropped trophies from Scars of Destruction should now allow you to edit their descriptions.
  • The following achievements now correctly reward Fragment of Coldforged Achievements:
    • Scars of Destruction: A Weapon for the Ages
    • Scars of Destruction: A Weapon for the Ages: Copper Gallery
    • Scars of Destruction: A Weapon for the Ages: Bronze Gallery
    • Scars of Destruction: A Weapon for the Ages: Silver Gallery
    • Scars of Destruction: A Weapon for the Ages: Gold Gallery
    • Scars of Destruction: A Weapon for the Ages: Platinum Gallery
  • Rivervale Armoire - House item now has the intended appearance, providing it a different wood texture than the Thicket Fir Armoire.
  • Chevast Quickhands in Western Wastes will now offer an item to upgrade non-rare items found within Dragon Necropolis Raid zones to have double purple adornment slots!

QUESTS

  • Chunash's Politics! - Quest journal text is now more accurate.
  • Memories of the Past - The search location for broken idols within "The Scale Yard: Traitors' End" is now more accurate.
  • Repairing the Ward - Zaddar Sullissia's dialogue no longer has a typo.
  • Thawing Rivalry and Bonds of Mischief - Dialog paths for the questlines have been reworked to allow alts to pick up the same quests as long their main character has access on their account.

TRADESKILLS

  • Those who have already helped Ameela Ziad in the Sodden Archipelago will find mail from her requesting one final bit of help. Those level 130 crafters who have completed the Stealthy Supplies line who lose track of this mail can speak to Ameela directly to obtain the new quest.

USER INTERFACE

  • Dungeon Finder has been removed.
  • Sorting options have been added for the Expendables Tab, which can be found in the Options tab in the Persona Window.
  • We are aware of an issue with the UI for group leaders to use right click to kick from group/raid. The slash commands /kickfromgroup and /kickgroupfromraid can be used as a workaround until we solve the issue.

ZONES AND POPULATION

  • Sodden Archipelago: Thawed Marshes [Raid]
    • Fireant Mounds that spawn during the Vitoth of the Gnarled Roots encounter should now spawn more centralized on the encounter area.
  • Combat mitigations, healing mitigations, and maximum health within Scars of Destruction Raids have been lowered.
